Explanation
What is Dermalux LED Light Therapy?
Dermalux is a form of light therapy – also know as phototherapy. This means it delivers light to the skin in therapeutic doses to stimulate rejuvenation.
Dermalux uses LED (light-emitting diode) technology, at a variety of different wavelengths. The effects are clinically proven to treat a range of skin concerns, including reducing the signs of ageing, tackling uneven or excessive pigmentation, and helping to correct environmental damage. It also helps treat inflammatory conditions such as rosacea and acne, and psoriaris and dermatitis.
How does it work?
The LED phototherapy stimulates collagen production, destroys the bacteria that cause acne, reduces inflammation, and also increases hydration. This helps to improve the skin’s texture and clarity.
You may already be aware of some forms of light therapy. Newborn babies with jaundice are laid under a special lamp to help treat the condition, for example. Or you might have seen the special lamps used to help with seasonal affective disorder (SAD)? The health benefits of light therapy are many and varied!Treatments
